Marlon Hancock, 86 of Scottsboro, lost his battle with cancer on Thursday, September 22, 2022. Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Gamble and Rev. Donald Jacobs officiating. Burial followed at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Hancock; daughter, Beth (Lyle) Sosebee; son, Darrell (Cathy) Hancock; grandchildren, Amber, Todd, Jordan, Isabella; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Brantley, Gabriel; sisters, Alinda Arnold, Sue Pickett; brother, Larry Hancock.
