Mrs. Kimberly “Kim” Kay Farmer Harries, 61 of Scottsboro, peacefully passed away surrounded by loved ones on Friday, August 12, 2022. A mass service will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022 at St. Jude Catholic Church.

Kim was born on Sunday, April 16, 1961 in Rockport, Texas, moving to Scottsboro in 1973. She attended Scottsboro High and loved music, gardening and cooking for her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Ryan (Justin) Sprouse, Megan (Alonso) Garcia; grandchildren, James Sprouse, Sophia Garcia, Camila Garcia, Taylor Latham, Ty Latham, Brody Hemphill; mother, Dora Gaines; brother, Anthony (Valerie) Farmer; sister, Sandra (Steve) Patrick; favorite cousin, Selina Guerrero; many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Erica Jones; husbands, Thomas Sanders, Michael Harries; father, Billy Farmer; brothers, Billy Farmer, Jr., Andrew Farmer, Raoul Farmer.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Catholic Church of Scottsboro.
