CVMA visit Veterans Memorial Park

The CMVA recently visited Veterans Memorial Park of Jackson County for a wreath laying ceremony to honor the memories of those lost to combat in service to their country.
The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association is an association of veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces who ride motorcycles as a hobby. The CVMA mission is to support and defend those who have defended their country and their freedoms.

They are an Association of combat veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces who ride motorcycles as a hobby. As a registered 501(c)(19) veterans’ charity, our mission is to support and protect those who have defended our country and our freedoms. Their focus is to provide assistance and help to individual veterans, veteran care facilities, other veteran organizations and registered charities. They sponsor and participate in many veteran-related motorcycle (and other) charity events each year, and as a non-profit organization, donate to various veteran causes.
Their membership is comprised of Full Members (those with verified combat service), Supporter Members (those who have non-combat military service and have a strong dedication to helping veterans), and Auxiliary Members (Spouses of both Full and Support members). They have members from all 50 states and numerous countries abroad, including combat areas.

The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Auxiliary (CVMA®-A) administers a scholarship program for CVMA or CVMAA members and their spouses, children, and grandchildren. This scholarship fund is supported by Auxiliary dues and donations. The Auxiliary Scholarship awards are unrestricted other than the requirement to attend an institute of higher learning seeking an Associate’s or higher degree during the year of the award. The applicant must be a CVMA or CVMAA member, spouse, widow, legal child, stepchild, or grandchild of a CVMA or CVMAA member. All CVMA member types are eligible as scholarship sponsors (Full, Support, or Auxiliary). Members must be in good standing at the time of submission to sponsor an applicant. Each year the total amount awarded, and the number of awards given is determined in relation to the dues and donations received.
