Mr. Robert “Bob” Lee Saylor, 83, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Dr. Matt Helms officiating and Mr. Saylor’s son, Alan delivering the eulogy. Burial followed at Chaney’s Chapel Cemetery.
Born in Kentucky but living in Alabama, Bob considered himself a Texan because of the many years he spend there. He retired from Lockheed Martin after a successful 28-year career.
He is survived by his loving companion and fiance, Kay Plemons; son, Alan (Tiffany) Saylor; grandchildren, Misty (Bradley) Crawford, Krystle (Bryan) Wigley, Alan (Tiffany) Saylor, Bennett Saylor; great-grandchildren, Tatum Crawford, Everett Wigley; many nieces and nephews; a host of friends and loving church family. He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters; six brothers.
