Charles Foreman

Charles “Chuck” Foreman, 81 of Sylvania passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Early in his life he served as an elementary and high school teacher. A small business owner in Houghton Lake, he later worked in the oil and gas industry across the Southwest and before retiring, as a business consultant for a newspaper in St. Lucie County where he retired with his wife, Patricia, who passed before him.
He graduated with a B.S. from the University of Michigan. He married and had three children, then remarried with two stepchildren, having a daughter with his new wife.
He enjoyed time spent with family and friends, especially during outdoor activities and destination family trips. He was an avid U of M Wolverines football fan and loyal to Detroit Tigers baseball. He was an outstanding, self-taught natural sketch artist and amazing pianist. He loved motorcycles, snowmobiles and classic cars and car shows. He was known for having a very quick sense of humor and wit. Whether positive or negative, his impact drove others to be and do better in their lives for themselves and others.
Chuck is survived by his children, Laura (Cesar) Rivera, Caraly Foreman, Charles (Rosaria) Foreman, Shelly Russell-Buller, Kelly (Rosemary) Russell, Rose Foreman; nephews, Ray Eklund, Doug Eklund; eight grandchildren; sister, Linda Eklund. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Foreman and Jeanne Conlin; spouse, Patricia Foreman.
