Mrs. Betty Sue Cook, 87 of Scottsboro passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 following a brief illness. Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Scottsboro First Baptist Church.
Betty was a retired telephone operator for General Telephone in Scottsboro and was a member of Scottsboro First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Vicki Johnson, Karen (Randy) Junior; sister, Janie (Les) Barbee; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Cook; granddaughter, Danielle Johnson; brother, bobby Myers; parents, John and Ruby Myers.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Scottsboro First Baptist Church building fund, 215 South Andrews Street, Scottsboro, Alabama 35768.
