James August Williams, 75 of Woodville, born on Saturday, April 13, 1946, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2021. Graveside services were held on Monday, June 28, 2021 at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Rev. James Walker, Jr. officiating.
James was born to the late Amanda Williams in Chattanooga, and he confessed his life to Christ at an early age at Shiloh Missionary Baptist in Woodville.
He is survived by his sister, Judy McCarver; nephew, Robert (Faye Jordan) Williams; niece, Devida Douglas; great-nephews, Elijawone Douglas, Samuel (Kindra Dawson) Douglas, William Douglas; great-nieces, Kamari Douglas, Kamdyn Douglas, K’Myiah Douglas; host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Amanda Williams; sister, Joyce Douglas; brothers, Jimmy Williams, Thomas Williams.
