Brian Chandler

Mr. Brian Scott Chandler, born on Tuesday, May 26, 1970, left this earthly life on Sunday, March 14, 2021. He was remembered on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Matt Helms, Rev. Don Cooper and Rev. Robert Lutz officiating. Burial followed at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
He was born in Scottsboro to Charles and Joan Chandler and graduated with the Class of 1988. After receiving his bachelor’s in Special Education, he went on to earn his master in School Counseling. He was an educator and counselor at several schools in Mobile County and taught one year at Scottsboro Junior High. While attending university, he met his wife, Cindy, and they were married in 1995. Two years later they welcomed their son into the world and a daughter later in 2000.
Brian loved God and was always willing to serve in church. His love for church began as a young child. He enjoyed singing in the choir, talking sports, working in the yard and relaxing on the beach. He wanted to put a smile on other’s faces, and he was deeply loved by many friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Lutz Chandler; son, Tucker Chandler; daughter, Kaylee Chandler, mother, Joan Chandler; brother, Charles Chandler; aunt, Joyce Chandler; cousin, Carol Hill; dear friends, Linda and Sam Wallingsford. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Chandler.
Donations may be made to Pilots for Christ, who graciously transported he and Cindy after a medical procedure, in his honor.
