Benjamin Edward Warren: – 11/18/20

Benjamin Edward “Ed Chick” Warren, 88 if Scottsboro went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 8, 2020. Graveside services were held to celebrate his life on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Union Cemetery.
Ed was one of eight children born to Ewing and Mae Warren on Tuesday, October 25, 1932. He graduated from Madison County High in 1951 and served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War from 1952-1956. Ed spend at honored 35-year career working for Liberty National Insurance. He was also a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was also an active member of the Scottsboro Lions Club.
Ed is survived by his wife, Patricia Evans Warren; sister, Sue Hawkins; daughters, Shirley (Jesse) Waddell, Connie (John) Powell, Beverly “Bev” (Johnny) Sisk; grandchildren, Paige Powell Davis, Rylee Powell, Dylan Sisk, Matthew Waddell, Adrienne Lemmond; great-grandchildren, Lila and Nora Lemmond; several nieces and nephews.
