Dean Mount, age 83, of Scottsboro, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2025. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Quinteth Ward officiated.
Mr. Mount is survived by his wife, Karen Mount; son, Tim (Abby) Mount; grand-children, Tyler (Melissa) Mount, Nick Mount, Erin (Kross) Ogle, Christy Mount; brother, James (Charlotte) Mount; nine great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; daughter in law, Wenda Mount; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Mr. Mount was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Ethel Mount; his son, Phillip Mount; step son, Eric Skelton; brothers, Buford, J.C., Paul, and Bill Mount.
