Gary Wayne “Jigsaw” Dave, age 71, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025. Funeral services were held on Sunday, March 23, 2025 from the Rudder Funeral Home Chapel. Danny Rader officiated.
Mr. Dave is survived by his daughters, Mikaela Dave and Ana Dave; grandson, Kevon Dave; brothers; Leon Dave and Stanley Dave; sisters, Mary Nicholson, Susan Cole, Ella Henry, Sandra Ballard, Evon Dave, Terry Dave, Sonya Dave; special Marine friends, Mike Dalrymple, Billy Carmichael and Jimmy Sanchez; special friend; Jerry Wellington; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mr. Dave was preceded in death by his wife, Dona Dave; father, Edward Dave Sr.; mother, Inez Dave; brothers; Edward Dave Jr. and Corey Dave; nephew, Levon Dave; and niece; Katrice Henry.
Mr. Dave was born to Edward Dave Sr. and Inez Dave on February 2, 1954 in Stevenson, Alabama. He accepted Christ at an early age. During his life he worked for California Highway Patrol and was a marine. He also had degrees in Criminal Justice and Mortuary Science.
