Rose Ann Anderton Smith, age 61 of Rainsville, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in the New Prospect Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her children, Michael Adam (Jack Barker) Smith, Christopher Smith and Samantha Rene Smith; grandson, London Kyle Smith; brothers, Glenton Leroy Anderton and Anthony (Tammy Bentley) Anderton; significant other, Wayne C. Steinard, Jr.; great nephew, Jackson “Ace” Robertson; cousin, Earline Starnes; and sister in law, Beth Keigans Steinard.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Smith; daughter, Heather Smith; and parents, Cecil Carl and Ruth (Crabtree) Anderton.
