Richard Wayne “Rick” Coates, age 73 of Bridgeport, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024. A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from the Rocky Springs Church of Christ. Bro. Henry Camp officiated.
Mr. Coates is survived by his brother, Johnny (Betty) Coates; nephews, Drew Taylor and Patrick Coates; niece, Mary Alice Sumrall; as well as a host of cousins and friends.
Mr. Coates was preceded in death by his parents, Alice Geraldine “Jerry” Henson Coates and John Thomas Coates, Sr.; and brother, David P. Coates.
