Carolyn Hodges Chandler, age 80 of Grant, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. A private service was held at the Chandler- Hodges Family Cemetery. A public Memorial Service was held on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at the Nan Roberts Lane Chapel. Rev. Joe Teal officiated.
Mrs. Chandler is survived by her husband, George Chandler; son, Phillip (Gregory Pettigrew); daughters, Carrie (Lynn) Beard and Diana (Tilgham) Turner; grandchildren, Chandler (Aubrey) Beard, Anderson Turner and George Turner; brothers, Billy Hodges and Charles Hodges; sisters, Joyce McKenzie and Margaret Grey; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Mrs. Chandler was preceded in death by her mother, Buncie Hodges; father, Clifford Hodges; and brother, Vaughn Hodges.
