Betty Tucker Burroughs, age 84 of Scottsboro, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023. Funeral services were held on Friday, December 29, 2023 from the First Baptist Church of Scottsboro. Rev. Shandy Dill officiated. Interment followed in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Burroughs is survived by her daughter, Kelly (Bill) Beaver; son, Jeff Burroughs; grandson, Cole (Nicole) Barkley; great grandsons, Wynn Barkley and Ellis Barkley; great granddaughter, Amelia Claire Barkley; and brother, Travis Tucker; three sisters in law; three step grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Burroughs was preceded in death by her parents, Velon Tucker and Dicy Tucker; husband, Bill Burroughs; brothers, Bobby Tucker, Olon Tucker, Billy Tucker and Nelson Tucker.
