Violet Jeffrey O’Linger, age 92 of Scottsboro, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023. A graveside service was held on Sunday, December 10, 2023 from the Goose Pond Cemetery. Cassidy Chandrakasem officiated.
Mrs. O’Linger is survived by her son, James (Marcia) O’Linger; sisters, Birdie Johnston and Charlotte Porter; brother, Ellis (Beth) Jeffrey; two grandchildren, Whitney Hudman and Brittany O’Linger; three great grandchildren, Addison O’Linger, Skilar O’Linger and Dalton Pritchett; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. O’Linger was preceded in death by her husband, Jack O’Linger; son, Roger O’Linger; brother, Otis Jeffrey; sisters, Jewel Wooten and Mary Grace Bell; and great grandchild, Bentley O’Linger.
