Melissa Jo Horton, age 39 of Rainsville, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Jason Bell and Dr. Kevin McCreless officiated. Interment followed in the Broadway Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Horton is survived by her husband, Brandon Joe Horton; sons, Crimson Jordan Ward, Brandon Joe Horton, Jr., William “Billy” Matthew Horton, Josia Elijah Horton and Benjamin Bradford Horton; daughter, Alyssa Isabella Horton; parents, Shirley (Marty) Pfieffer and Ronald Ward, Jr.; brothers, Anthony Pfieffer, Steven Pfieffer, Scott (Brittany) Pfieffer, Eric Pfieffer and Adam (Beverly) Ward; sisters, Mirand (Drew) Hornsby and Kylie (Drew) Sims.
Mrs. Horton was preceded in death by her grandfather, Ron Ward, Sr.
