Mrs. Mary Alice Hammonds, 92 of Scottsboro, peacefully passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023. Funeral services were held on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Scottsboro Funeral home with Wesley Phillips officiating. Burial followed in Pace Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Robert) Phillips; grandchildren, Tommy and Mary Willis, Wesley and Lori Phillips, Clay Phillips, Jessica Hammonds, Ginger Tidwell; numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Hammonds; parents, George and Mae Mason; sons, Bucky Hammonds, Kevin Hammonds, Donald Hammonds, Larry Hammonds; daughter, Barbara Ikard.
