Mr. Billy Wayne Benson, 68 of Scottsboro, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. Services were held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Rainsville funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Wilbanks and Bro. Junior Summerford officiating. Burial followed in Rosalie Baptist Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his daughter, Renea (Joe) Summerford; granddaughters, Sarah (Tyler) Dean, Monica (Dillon Eason) Summerford; sisters, Pat (Anthony) Roberts, Kim Stephens; brothers, Jamie (Merry) Benson, Richard (Stacey) Payne; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Opal Benson; brother, Harris Benson; sisters, Johnnie McKenzie, Margie Jones, Linda Britt; nephew, Jonathan Benson; niece, Kellie Benson.
