Mr. Preston Wayne Whitehead, 79 of Horton, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at his home. Funeral services were held on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Scottsboro Funeral Home with burial following in Gant Cemetery. Services were officiated by Rev. Joel Shiflett.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Whitehead; daughters, Amy Whitehead, Shelby Bryant; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Ruby Whitehead; siblings, Peggy Batey, Jeanette Frazier, Larry Whitehead, Jerry Whitehead.
