Mr. Don “Pawpaw” Fobbus, 84 of Rainsville, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023 at his residence. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Coby Boyd and Bro. Roger Graham officiating. Burial followed in mountain View Memory Gardens.

He is survived by his daughters, Amanda (Tim) Hughes, Susan (Jim Smith) Schwent; son, Scott Tucker; grandchildren, Jadie (Brandon) Chester, Alana Fobbus, Lukas Johnson, Lane (Emily) Thornberry, Jason (Amber) Thornberry, R.J. (Jenny) Thornberry, Brandon Tucker, Morgan Tucker; 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, JaJuan Fobbus; son, Don Tucker; parents, Hermon and Lillie Fobbus; brother, Lowell Fobbus; sisters, Thelma Shores; Janie McElroy.
