The Mountain Lakes Chamber recently held a ribbon cutting for the Scottsboro Boys Museum, located at 428 West Willow Street to commemorate its grand re-opening after closing for a couple years to allow for extensive remodeling.
The newly remodeled Scottsboro Boys Museum will host a public event on Wednesday, November 9, at 1:00 pm to celebrate its official reopening.
The Mountain Lakes Chamber of Commerce recently hosted the Inaugural State of Education Address for Scottsboro City Schools, Jackson County Schools and Northeast Alabama Community College on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at the Goose Pond Civic Center in Scottsboro.

RAINSVILLE – Earlier this year, Northeast Alabama Community College (NACC) experienced the loss of its beloved campus dog, Roscoe. Roscoe became quite the fixture at NACC and was a friend to all who visited the college’s campus in Rainsville. To celebrate his life and continue his legacy, the NACC Foundation Board of Directors has created the Friends of Roscoe Scholarship.
