Sally Swan Reynolds

Ms. Sally Swan Reynolds, 60 of Scottsboro and formerly of Birmingham passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020. Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at First Baptist Church in Scottsboro with Rev. Shandy Dill officiating. She was a devout Christian and member of Scottsboro First Baptist Church. She was very active in her church and community and volunteered at Turning PointPregnancy Center. She graduated Scottsboro High School in 1977 and McWhorter School of Pharmacy out of Samford University in 1982. While Sally held many interests, none could compare to the love and joy she experienced when spending time with her nieces and nephews. There was never a birthday, holiday or special occasion that Sally didn’t leave an indelible print on each of them. No matter how Sally may have felt, she never let it prevent her from learning to sashay across the floor or flip pancakes. Sally was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan and enjoyed ballroom dancing and Christian music. She was a giver and gave to others with all of her heart. She will be remembered as one of the kindest, most compassionate, caring person who never met a stranger. She made you feel like you belonged, and that you were important. She was an angel on Earth, and now she is an angel who is dancing with her Father in heaven. Ms. Reynolds is survived by her mother, Jane Wheat Reynolds; sister, Robin Reynolds (Dale ) Harden; brother, Wes (Dawn) Reynolds; nieces and nephews, Anna Harden (Rick) McCay, Claire Harden (Bryan) Gulas, Jacob Wesley Reynolds, Morgan Cacyce Reynolds; great-niece and great-nephew, Hope Lindsay McCay and Samson Abel McCay; fur baby, Mattie. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold W. Reynolds. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 215 South Andrews Street, Scottsboro, Ala. 35768 or Turning Point Pregnancy Center, 510 Harley Street, Scottsboro, Ala. 35768.
