Local VFW/American Legion to host annual Memorial Day program

The month of May is Veterans Appreciation month in America. The annual VFW/American Legion program will be held on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31, 2021 at Collins Intermediate School. Guest speaker will be Chief Master Sergeant Eric Dudash, who has 30 years experience in the United States Air Force, having served several tours in the Middle East and other parts of the world.

The program will begin at 10:45 in the auditorium, and all citizens of Jackson County are invited to attend to honor all of the veterans who have served this country. Veterans who gave their lives so that others have been able to live in a free country will also be honored.

This year, take Memorial Day to heart and come to Collins to honor these veterans. Drop everything else and come to honor these soldiers who deserve the support.
