Lorene McCuiston, 88 of Stevenson died peacefully at her home Thursday, June 11, 2020. Funeral services were held Monday, June 15, 2020 at Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson.
Lorene was born to Linda Pitts Clark and Lynn Clark. She was the oldest of seven children who all preceded her in death. She enjoyed her friend Maggie Teague and going to the Stevenson Senior Center for many years. She also enjoyed hand-sewing and cooking. Most knew her coconut cakes at auctions and benefits. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church. In her early years, she was a hairdresser, then worked for Burlington Mills until she retired to become a homemaker. She was married to the late Ernest McCuiston.
She is survived by her children, Betty Goodman, Judy Williams; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren.
