Myron Leonard “Lee” Horton, 55 of Scottsboro passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2020 in Huntsville.
Myron was born to David and Stella Horton on Friday, February 19, 1965 in Scottsboro, where he later became an esteemed athlete in his youth. After his decline in health in 2011, he became a resident at Brookshire Healthcare Center until his transition.
He is survived by his twin daughters, Christina A. (Peter) Fontimayor and Christiana A. Horton; son, Christian A. Horton; grandchildren, Layla Ruth and Laydon Ross McDowell; devoted father, David Horton; brother, David B. Horton; niece, Fallone A. McQueen; great-nephews, DaMyson Abner, Dallas Abner, Vince McQueen; a host of special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; Myron also leaves to cherish two special friends, Carol Busby and Linda F. Green. He was preceded in death by his mother, Stella Ruth Horton.
