Linda Mae West, age 82 of Scottsboro, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024. Funeral services were held on Thursday, February 1, 2024 from the Scottsboro Funeral Home chapel. Bro. Ronnie Miller officiated. Interment followed in the Sanders Cemetery.
Miss West is survived by her niece, Melissa (Jimmie) Cookston; nephews, Rodney West, Emmit Smart, Jr. and Trey Smart; great nieces, Kerry (Josh) McWilliams, Brandi (Rick) Sauceda and Chelsey (Rod) Key; great nephews, Eric (Linda) Cookston, Dubresse Cookston, Jamie Cookston and Cody (Mikayla) Cookston; six great great nieces; five great great nephews; one great great great niece; and one great great great nephew.
Miss West was preceded in death by her parents, John Williams West and Lillian Ruth West; sisters, Ann West, Addie Ruth (Emmit, Sr.) Smart, Shirley West (Harrison) Hold; brothers, Leon (Forrestine) West, Doyle West and John West; and nephew, Ray Smart.
