Jackson Co. CAC Golf Tourney Fundraiser Set

Calling all teams and sponsors!! The Jackson County Children’s Advocacy Center’s annual golf tournament fundraiser is set for June 16th. Registration and sponsorship forms are located below. Thank you in advance for your continued support of our CAC as we continue to provide services to the children of our county at no cost!!

The Jackson County Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) is a non-profit organization in Scottsboro. The Center’s staff work together to bring healing to victims of child abuse and trauma. In collaboration with Law Enforcement and the Department of Human Resources, the CAC has served over 300 children and their families within the community, providing services to children in Jackson County who have experienced abuse or trauma. They conducts forensic interviews of child-victims in a supportive environment to promote comfort during disclosure. Children are offered therapy services free of charge, as well as family support through advocacy during. The Center relies heavily upon donations and fundraising to cover the expenses of operation. In addition to monetary contributions, the CAC enlists the community to: Volunteer their time at the CAC; Donate supplies needed for services; Spread the word about the CAC and the cause it serves. Donations needed: Kleenex, kid’s paints, paint brushes, coloring books, small stuffed animals (new), bottled water, juice and individually wrapped snacks for the children, play-doh (small size containers).
