Highlands Auxiliary needs you

More volunteers are needed for the Highlands Hospital Auxiliary. The HHA is a volunteer organization that is based in Highlands Medical Center. Some of the things they do every day are:
Meet and greet patients, friends and family members
Serve snacks and drinks to patients on the fourth floor and ER, plus provide a needed friendly ear and heart to listen to patients and help where they can
Support Surgical Department by putting together surgical charts, helping to ease pressure on nurses by giving them more time with patients
They also have a great gift shop, with proceeds going to support the hospital.

Bring in outside vendors and have amazing sales, such as a $5 jewelry sale, uniform sales, book sales, bake sales. Proceeds from these sales have purchased many items for the hospital, such as: blanket warmers, equipment for Physical Therapy, window shades for all the windows in the hospital.

This month, Highlands Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary was pleased to purchase a post-partum hemorrhage cart (PPH) for the Highlands Maternity Center. (Pictured.) The item was much-needed and replaced the previous cart that was hard to maneuver and out of date.
