Goose Pond Colony to host 39th annual Fourth of July Celebration

Goose Pond Colony Resort, a municipally owned resort and golf facility, is pleased to host the 39th Annual Fourth of July Celebration taking place on the banks of the Tennessee River. This is the oldest annual 4th of July celebration held in North Alabama. The tradition continues with a full evening of musical entertainment, family fun and North Alabama’s largest free firework display. The fireworks will be held on Sunday, July 4th, 2021.

According to Livingston, the new system appears to be failing as three of the major banks, the major players, have stepped away from the issue. Livingston stated a package may have to be put together and reviewed in a special session this year, allowing for a special bond for the prison issues.
