The Veterans Memorial Park of Jackson County (VMPJC) is a place of remembrance and honor for the brave members of the Armed Services who have sacrificed their lives for our nation.
The Park also serves as a platform to educate and inform the community about the heroic actions of those who have served with distinction. Recently, VMPJC sat down with retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Bob Clemens, a living legend and a native of Scottsboro.
During the recent Scottsboro City Council meeting, the issue of delinquent sales tax was once again discussed. The Council previously discussed the issue in November.
All Vietnam Veterans and the public are invited to gather at Veterans Memorial Park of Jackson County on National Vietnam War Veterans Day, Friday, March 29, 2024 at 6 p.m. for a sunset commemoration in honor of those who served in the Vietnam War and their families. The event will be held at 1616 Heroes Drive in Scottsboro.
The Alabama Primary Election is quickly approaching.
The Alabama Senate voted last week to uphold the integrity of Alabama elections with the passage of the Anti-Ballot Harvesting Bill.
