The sovereign God, part 2
Last week, I talked about how the sovereign God rightfully and justly does as He pleases with His creation. He is in control of all things; not one particle is outside His control. To some angels, He bestowed the honor of continually praising Him.
As we move into the summer, fishing gets tough. The deep water is hot in water temperature, the bass are lethargic, and getting a bite can be tedious work. Sometimes, the answer is not where you might expect, as many times the bass have moved into very shallow water.
Do I have to forgive?
After someone has been hurt, at some point they come across the F-word. Forgiveness. After experiencing a trauma, it is very difficult to think of forgiving the person who harmed you – Especially if they never acknowledged what they did or if they never suffered consequences for their actions.
The immutability of God
As we continue looking at God, we come to another attribute of God that is of necessity. When God is described as immutable, that means He is devoid of all change.
When the water gets hot, and the bass are looking for oxygen, looking for cooler water or just suspending, nothing duplicates that results of a jiggling spoon. What makes it even better than most realize is it’s bait that even the most inexperienced angler can use and be successful.
