Mayor to give State of City address |

The Greater Jackson County Chamber of Commerce has announced there will be a "State of the City" address by Scottsboro Mayor Melton Potter on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 7:30 AM. This special meeting is being hosted by the Scottsboro Water, Sewer, and Gas Board and the Scottsboro Electric Power Board.
The event will be held at the Maintenance Center for the Water, Sewer, and Gas located at 519 East Willow Street, which is the former location for Harbin Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury. Everyone is invited to attend and hear Mayor Potter reflect on his first year in office and discuss current issues affecting your city government. This address is being brought to you as a part of the Greater Jackson County Chamber of Commerce FOCUS Jackson program and their Public Policy and Advocacy initiative. A light breakfast will be served for those attending. Reservations are not required and everyone is invited to attend.
