Cats beat Plainview, back to action after break |

After a brief break due to winter weather, the Scottsboro Wildcat basketball teams will return to action this week as they host DAR on Friday night.
The varsity boys won their last game which was last Tuesday night at Plainview. The Wildcats made a strong showing, beating the Bears 73-69 to pick up their sixth win of the season. Currently, the varsity boys are tied for first in the area with a 2-1 record. The Lady Wildcats however, fell to the Lady Bears 50-28. The loss dropped Scottsboro’s record to 7-10 for the season. The Wildcats were originally scheduled to play Arab in an area game last Friday, but the game was cancelled due to the weather. The game will be rescheduled for a later date. The Wildcats hosted Fort Payne on Tuesday night and will hit the road next Tuesday to face Madison County.
