The Sons of Confederate Veterans and Daughters of the Confederacy will sponsor a program honoring the Stewart family beginning at 9 a.m. at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery,  located three miles east of Collinsville. The Stewarts were an ordinary family caught in an extra-ordinary situation during the War Between the States.
