The Lighthouse Ministry, located at 508 Appletree Street, will hold a benefit singing and BBQ supper on Friday, May 24 at 7 p.m. for Gary Joe Gant. The Jackson County Voters League will sponsor a fun day at Carver Park beginning at 11 a.m.. The fun day will consist of softball games, relay games, bingo, etc. and last but not least delicious food will be sold. This event is for all ages from kids to adults.
