Darrell Wayne Miller, 29 of Henagar, was recently arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and fleeing to allude police.
On January 29 at approximately 2:30 a.m. Lieutenant Larry Lewis attemped to stop a vehicle on County Road 45 in Fackler. The vehicle failed to stop and Lt. Lewis pursued the vehichle for approximately one mile. The vehicle then stopped and the occupant fled on foot. Sargeant Troy Holman and Deputy Danny Miller assisted in the search for the suspect. Deputy Miller located teh suspect a short time later hiding in a wooded area. The suspect was taken into custody and a substance believed to be methamphetamine was located on his person.
