Bruce's Foodland comes to Scottsboro

Bruce’s Foodland has officially announced the opening of its newest store to be located at 1402 County Park Road in the County Park Plaza Shopping Center in Scottsboro.
Bruce’s Foodland offers excellent customer service, USDA Choice grade beef, grade A fresh, never frozen poultry at a competitive price. The stores feature weekly specials, recipes, an online shopping list at brucesfoodland.com and Facebook promotions. The stores also have a 60 plus club for extra savings each Tuesday for those over 60.
Bruce’s Foodland Stores have been a family tradition since Shan and Connie Bruce opened their first location in 1979. Just like that store, the Scottsboro store will be open before Thanksgiving.
The Bruce family branded a standard of quality to loyal customers for nearly three and a half decades.  Four generations have worked in Bruce’s Foodland Stores, and they are proud of the employees they hire.  Bruce’s Foodland’s philosophy is to offer its customers exceptional friendly service that brings them back again and again.
Bruce’s Foodland in Scottsboro will be managed by Stephen Berry. They plan to open November 11.
“We are excited for the opportunity  to serve the residents of beautiful Scottsboro,” said Michael Bruce. “We hope to bring some excitement with great promotions while maintaining exceptional customer service, quality meats, fresh produce and very competitive pricing.”
Store manager Stephen Berry added, “We are looking to create relationships with our customers that far outlast the excitement of a grand opening.”
Bruce’s Foodland Stores operate six locations: Section, Fyffe, Rainsville, Ider, Fort Payne and now Scottsboro.  Bruce’s Foodland has been a leader in the community supporting local schools and charitable organizations.
