Regina Weaver Saunders

Regina Weaver Saunders, 80 of Scottsboro, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013. She was born in Statesbury, W. Va., to Cleve H. and Esta Ora Weaver who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan (Dennis) Hicks, Donna (Mike) King and Kelly (Terry) Saunders; grandchildren, Laura Bohler Forman, Ryan Bohler, Blake Bohler, Scott Bohler, Steve Grainger, Megan Grainger, Molly King, Richard King and Amy Hunter; brother, Bob Hampton Weaver, of Texas; and grandchildren, Sadie, Jackson and Tucker Forman, Ellie Mason and Tanner Brewer.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Calvary Baptist Church’s Shoes for Orphan Souls, 305 Co. Park. Rd., Scottsboro, or to diabetes research at The American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 1131, Fairfax, VA. 22038-1131. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Highlands Health and Rehab for the wonderful care given to Ms. Saunders while in their facility.
