Cats look for wins at home

After competing in Thanksgiving tournaments this past week, the Wildcats return home to Hambrick Hall this Friday night to play Pope John Paul II Catholic High School.

Scottsboro’s Janea Davis shoots over two defenders during a recent home game. The Varsity boys competed in a tournament over the holiday at Columbia high school, while the varsity girls’ hosted a tournament.

The varsity boys were defeated by Columbia in the opening game 80-48.

The Lady Wildcats defeated Butler in the first round of the tournament, 64-47. However, Buckhorn proved to be too much in the second round, beating the Lady Wildcats 64-31.

The Wildcats hosted area rival Fort Payne on Tuesday.
