The Scottsboro Wildcats  began practice for the upcoming 2012 season last week.
After going through the summer workout/conditioning program, the Wildcats have strapped on the helmets and began football activities.
Finishing the 2011 season with a 2-8 record, third year head coach Swane Morris and the Wildcats will be looking for a better record this season.
Scottsboro is scheduled to host Butler for a preseason jamboree on August 24.
The Wildcats will officially begin season play on August 31 at Buckhorn.
