Skyline man arrested for meth

On August 8 members of the Jackson County Sheriff' Office Narcotics Unit, Patrol Deputies and Skyline Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence on GTE Loop in the Skyline community.
Evidence seized as a result of this search warrant were; a clandestine methamphetamine laboratory, chemicals and items used in the manufacture of methamphetamine, finished methamphetamine product and methamphetamine base or oil, which would produce additional amounts of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. One person, Paul Andrew Talkington, 41of Skyline, was arrested in connection with this investigation. He was charged with first degree unlawful manufacture of controlled substances, possession of controlled substances (meth), possession of precursor chemicals and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Talkington was transported to the Jackson County Jail where he remains pending bond being set.
