The 2012 Summer Olympics are scheduled to begin this weekend in London and with it comes the excitement that the Olympics bring us every four years.
For two weeks, we will get the opportunity to watch the world’s best athletes compete against each other in their respective sports for medals and the pride of their respective countries. Its always interesting and fascinating to see athletes, that aren’t famous that compete in sports that aren’t very popular, get their chance to shine in the spotlight of a world stage. The athletes’ histories and backstories that will be shared during the Olympics are always intriguing and will enable audiences to engage in the games more intently. For any person that loves competitive spirits, athleticism, and the grandeur of all the countries of the world coming together to partake in games, the Olympics are must see TV.
