National president, vice president and 39 members of Devils Disciples motorcycle gang indicted

A Federal Grand Jury has issued an 83- page indictment against 41 members of the Devil’s Disciples Motorcycle Club including the Club’s president and vice president.


The indictment states that the Devil’s Disciples Motorcycle Club is a criminal organization comprised of regional chapters in Michigan, Alabama, Arizona, California, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and elsewhere.

The indictment carries charges of murder, racketeering, drug trafficking, robbery, assault, sex trafficking, coercion, theft and a host of other charges against various individual members of the organization.

Alabama residents listed on the indictment include Cary Dale Vandiver (Also known as “Gun Control”) of Anniston, Michael Kenneth Rich (A.K.A. “Tatu”) of Anniston, Dean Edward Jakiel (A.K.A “Jesus”) of Jacksonville and Tony Wayne Kitchens (A.K. A. “Trouble”) of Albertville.

Federal Bureau of Investigation spokesperson Paul Daymond said the four Alabamians were arrested this morning and have had their initial appearance. They will have a detention hearing on Monday, July 16, at 2 p.m. in Birmingham.
