Florence Evelyn Taylor, 91 of Letcher, passed away Friday, June 29, 2012. Funeral services were held Monday, July 02, 2012 at the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Curan Teague officiated. Interment followed in Scottsboro City Cemetery.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by her son, Daniel (Laurie) Taylor, of Athens; daughter, Carmen (Eugene) Stover, of Tenn.; former daughter-in-law, Irene Taylor, of Harvest; grandchildren, Leslie Stover, of Tenn., and Elizabeth Taylor, of Harvest; great granddaughter, Ashlyn Stover, of Tenn.; nephew, Jesse Cox, of Ill.; and niece, Ana Dunk, of Mich. Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd “Duke” Taylor; parents, Jesse and Winona Farlow; and sisters, Leona Cox and Hannah Gray.
