Boston Butt with Onion Barbeque Sauce

This is a dish that is soooooo easy just put the Boston butt in the oven and cook slow for four hours. Then whip up the great sauce that you will pour over before you serve it. The meat will fall apart and melt in your mouth!
Enjoy!
Shirley

Ingredients:
1 fresh Boston Butt
2 onions, sliced
1 Tablespoon of garlic powder
1 cup of barbecue sauce
1 cup of ketchup
¾ cup of brown sugar
1 Tablespoon of minced garlic
Juice of one lemon
6 drops of hot sauce
¼ cup of honey

Directions:
In a roasting pan, place butt and fill ½ with water. Sprinkle top with garlic powder. Seal with foil. Bake at 300˚ for four hours. In a skillet, saute onions in olive oil. In a bowl, mix the rest of the ingredients together. Pour into sauted onions. Stir and let cook on medium low heat for about 10 minutes. When the roast is ready, pull apart meat. Pour sauce over meat. Garnish with parsley (optional).
