Floyd F. Lewis, 69 of Sylvania, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. George Hughes officiated. Interment followed in Town Creek Cemetery.

Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife, Jeanette Lewis, of Sylvania; son, Jeff (Debby) Lewis, of Sylvania; daughters, Tinna Clark, of Sylvania, Kim Lewis, of Fort Payne, Belinda Lewis, of Rainsville, Rebecca Coots, of Fort Payne, and Melissa Lewis, of Rainsville; mother, Bessie Lewis, of Section; brothers, Cecil Lewis, of Section, and Robert Lewis, Jr., of Rainsville; sisters, Barbara Abernathy, of Section, Carolyn McPeters, of Scottsboro, Cookie (Curtiss) Elliot, of Section, and Lisa (Mike) Sharp, of Fla.; and seven grandchildren. Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lewis, Sr.; son, Frank Lewis, Jr.; sister, Carmon Lewis Dukes; and twin brother, Loyd Lewis.
