Herber Houston Eakins, 55 of Pisgah, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at the W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Jimmy Guinn officiated.

Mr. Eakins is survived by his daughter, Danna (Jason) Cash, of Roden Town; son, David (Janet) Eakins, of Grove Oak; sister, Judy Eakins, of Ga.; and brothers, Franklin Payne, of Ider, Bruce Eakins and Herbert Eakins, both of Ga.; and two grandchildren.
