Una Ayers Provence, 95 of Grant, passed away Friday, May 11, 2012. Funeral services were held Sunday, May 13, 2012 at Grant Church of Christ. Bro. Clayton Tuggle and Bro. David Powell officiated. Interment followed in Free Home Cemetery.

Mrs. Provence is survived by her son, Rex (Wanda) Provence, of Grant; daughter, Cindy (Rick) Maxwell, of Huntsville; grandchildren; Beth and Joe Grobmyer, Rob Maxwell, Hannah Maxwell and Susan Maxwell; great grandchild, Megan Grobmyer; brothers, Orval (Masiel) Ayers, of Huntsville, and Charles (Frances) Ayers, Sr., of Grant; and sister, Betty Jean Walls, of Grant. Mrs. Provence was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Provence; great granddaughter, Emily Elizabeth Grobmyer; parents, John, Sr. and Hannah Sutton Ayers; brothers, John Ayers, Jr., Luther Ayers, Floyd Ayers, O.C. Ayers and James Ayers; and sister, Ruby Burks.
