Help! The Scottsboro Senior Center is in charge of the Meals on Wheels Program in Scottsboro.  We are very grateful for our volunteers who deliver up to 36 hot meals each Monday through Friday.

In order to accomplish this, we need fifteen volunteers each week. This is a somewhat daunting task and we are seeking a few more volunteers.  The food is ready for pick-up at 11:00am. There are 3 routes and each one takes about an hour to complete.

This is a very rewarding job because often, the only people the recipients see in a day is the volunteer who delivers their meal. Some volunteers who deliver on a regular basis develop a friendship with those on “their” route.
